  • Mail Types:
    Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM®) for neighborhood saturation.
    Addressed mail for targeted customer lists

  • Paper & Finishes:

    Uncoated stocks for easy writing and a more personal feel

  • Design Considerations:
    Clear headlines, strong calls to action, and layouts optimized for quick scanning
    Proper spacing and sizing to meet postal requirements

Sizes & Structure:

  • Postcards (EDDM® Eligible):
    Common sizes include 6”×9”, 6.5”×9”, and 6”×11”.
    EDDM mailers must meet USPS minimum size and thickness requirements to qualify for saturation mailing routes.

  • Postcards (Mailing Lists):
    Smaller sizes such as 4”×6” and 5”×7” are commonly used for addressed mail.
    Postage for mailing lists varies based on size, weight, and mailing class, and costs increase as pieces get larger or heavier.

  • Flyers & Self-Mailers:
    Typically 8.5”×11” flat or folded formats.
    These must meet specific folding, tabbing, and thickness rules when mailed without envelopes.

  • Letters:
    Single or multi-page documents mailed in standard envelopes.
    Postage is calculated per piece and increases with additional pages or inserts.
